Sittercise, sitting while exercising, is designed to help those who are aging and/or dealing with chronic and other illnesses. It focuses on strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance, and overall improved function.
When is it held?
The program is offered from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning January 9th.
Sittercise Class Dates:
August - 2,7,9,14,16,21,23,28,30
All Tuesdays and Thursdays in August.
Who can come?
The class is open to adults ages 18 and older.
What do I need to do to participate?
The class is free but please consult your doctor before starting any new exercise program. Liability waivers are required to participate and are available from the instructor.
